An established and growing professional services firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its expanding tax practice in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong corporate tax professional looking to take on a varied and commercially focused role, working with a broad client base ranging from entrepreneurial businesses and privately owned groups through to large international organisations with UK operations.

The position offers significant exposure to advisory work and would suit an individual who enjoys building client relationships, solving complex tax issues and working closely with senior stakeholders on strategic projects.

The Role:

  • Working as part of a highly regarded corporate tax team, you will manage a portfolio of clients while supporting directors and partners on a range of advisory assignments.
  • The role is predominantly advisory focused, providing the opportunity to work on complex technical matters whilst maintaining oversight of compliance for your clients.
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients.
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
  • Advising on matters such as group restructures, corporate reorganisations, loss utilisation and capital allowances.
  • Supporting transactions, acquisitions, disposals and due diligence projects.
  • Advising UK businesses with international operations and overseas groups investing in the UK.
  • Liaising with HMRC on enquiries, clearances and technical matters.
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and mitigating tax risk.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and proposal activity.
  • Keeping clients informed of relevant legislative and tax developments.

About You:

  • Ideally, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Strong UK corporation tax technical knowledge.
  • Experience managing client relationships and projects.
  • Confidence reviewing complex tax computations and compliance work.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior team members.
