Strategic Planner – New Client Advisor
Fully Home Based | Salary up to £80,000 + Uncapped Bonus
What if your next client meeting was already booked for you?
We’re looking for a Financial Adviser / Strategic Planner to join a highly respected national wealth management firm in a fully home-based role. This is an opportunity to step away from the traditional pressures of prospecting and self-generation and focus on what you do best — building trusted client relationships and delivering high-quality financial advice.
You’ll have access to a consistent pipeline of qualified client meetings, generated through long-standing corporate partnerships and workplace financial education programmes. That means no cold prospecting, no building a client bank from scratch, and no chasing leads. Instead, you’ll meet employees from leading UK organisations who are actively looking for professional financial guidance — from early-career professionals through to senior executives.
The Opportunity
As a Strategic Planner – New Client Advisor, you’ll meet clients introduced through workplace financial wellbeing initiatives. These are meaningful conversations with people who recognise the value of financial advice and want support with areas such as pensions, investments, retirement planning and their wider financial strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
