Role Description

The Clinical Administrator role is a full-time remote position responsible for providing administrative support to healthcare professionals and clinics. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Managing schedules and appointments
  • Organizing patient records and documentation
  • Coordinating correspondence with patients and other stakeholders
  • Handling general inquiries
  • Assisting with clinic workflows
  • Preparing reports
  • Supporting billing and insurance-related documentation
  • Maintaining accurate data in practice management systems

The Clinical Administrator will also liaise with medical consultants and other team members to ensure smooth operations and a professional, responsive service for all clients.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with clients, patients, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Candidates should possess solid Administrative Assistance skills, including scheduling, documentation management, and use of office software and digital tools.
  • Candidates should possess Medicine-related familiarity or experience working in clinical or healthcare environments to understand medical terminology and clinic processes.
  • Candidates should possess Research skills to gather information, verify data, and support reporting or process improvements.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field are beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting are essential.
  • Experience with electronic health records, data protection practices, and confidentiality requirements is an advantage.
  • Comfort with remote collaboration tools and a reliable internet connection are required.
