Job Opportunity

Join a long-term project focused on enhancing and migrating an established web application from React to Next.js. You will be responsible for restoring incomplete UI components, resolving layout and responsive design issues, and elevating the overall user interface and experience. The role involves refactoring the frontend for improved maintainability and performance, addressing bugs and inconsistencies, and supporting the implementation of new features as the application evolves. This opportunity is ideal for a developer seeking an ongoing, part-time collaboration and who is committed to understanding and improving an existing product rather than building from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Continue the migration of the web application from React to Next.js, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption
  • Restore and complete missing UI components and address layout inconsistencies
  • Resolve responsive design issues to ensure optimal performance across devices
  • Refactor frontend code for maintainability, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Identify and fix bugs, inconsistencies, and technical debt within the codebase
  • Collaborate on the implementation of new features and enhancements as the product evolves
  • Review and understand the existing architecture and codebase to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Communicate progress and challenges effectively with stakeholders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
