About the Role

This role is for a talented illustrator to bring to life a unique children's adventure story featuring Bruffa the Rabbit and his companions. The book is aimed at readers aged 8–13 and blends wry humor, fast-paced action, and imaginative settings. The story follows three rabbits on a daring journey to the moon, where they encounter enslaved moon rabbits, wicked vultures and ravens, and form unlikely alliances with snakes and spiders. The illustrations should capture the quirky personalities of the characters, the tension and excitement of their adventures, and the fantastical lunar and Martian landscapes. The ideal candidate will be able to create engaging, expressive artwork that appeals to children and enhances the storytelling experience.

Deliverables

  • Create high-quality, full-color illustrations for key scenes, characters, and settings as described in the manuscript
  • Develop character designs for Bruffa the Rabbit, his companions, and a range of imaginative creatures (vultures, ravens, snakes, spiders, etc.)
  • Illustrate dynamic action sequences and atmospheric environments, including lunar and Martian landscapes
  • Collaborate with the author to ensure illustrations align with the tone, humor, and narrative of the story
  • Prepare artwork files suitable for print and digital publication

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
