Remote Key Account Manager - Biosimilars

Ready to make an impact in secondary care?

Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional who knows how to open doors, build influential relationships and turn complex account insights into results?

Inizio Engage is looking for a driven and ambitious Remote Key Account Manager to join an exciting partnership with our client, supporting their growing biosimilars portfolio.

This is more than a traditional sales role. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of accounts, build relationships with influential NHS stakeholders and help shape prescribing decisions across Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology and Hospital Pharmacy.

Working remotely, you'll use your commercial expertise, account management skills and digital capabilities to connect with the right customers, through the right channel, at the right time.

If you enjoy autonomy, thrive on challenge and know how to influence within complex NHS environments, this could be the opportunity for you.

What will you be doing?

As a Remote Key Account Manager, you'll develop a deep understanding of your accounts - who makes the decisions, how prescribing pathways work and where the opportunities exist to create change.

You'll engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including Consultants, Registrars, IBD Nurses, Rheumatology and Dermatology Nurse Specialists, Procurement Pharmacists, High-Cost Drug Pharmacists, Medicines Optimisation teams and Hospital Pharmacy customers.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of secondary care accounts, developing clear account plans and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Building trusted and influential relationships with clinical, pharmacy, procurement and medicines optimisation stakeholders.
  • Driving the uptake of our client's biosimilar portfolio through compelling, customer-focused conversations.
  • Delivering engaging e-details, tele-details and remote meetings with healthcare professionals.
  • Mapping accounts to understand prescribing pathways, decision-making processes and stakeholder networks.
  • Identifying the key influencers and decision-makers who can help drive prescribing change.
  • Tailoring your approach to different customers and selecting the most effective channel and communication style for each interaction.
  • Developing advocacy and influence across your accounts.
  • Using your product and therapeutic-area knowledge to confidently communicate a compelling value proposition.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across KAM, Medical, Marketing, Market Access and Compliance.
  • Managing your territory autonomously, prioritising opportunities and maintaining momentum across a diverse account base.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
