Remote Paraplanner
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our established and growing financial planning business. Working closely with advisers and the wider team, you will provide high-quality technical, research and report-writing support across a range of client cases.
This is a full-time, fully remote position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package, with opportunities for continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare clear, accurate and bespoke financial planning and suitability reports for clients.
- Conduct detailed research into investments, pensions, products and financial planning solutions using approved research tools.
- Analyse existing investment portfolios, including performance and benchmark comparisons.
- Complete pension and investment transfer analysis and supporting calculations.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation, regulation, products and technical developments.
- Support advisers with complex cases, identifying key considerations and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards, regulatory requirements and agreed SLAs.
- Contribute to internal projects and support the development of junior members of the paraplanning team.

About You
You will ideally have:
- A Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment.
- Strong knowledge of personal financial planning and suitability requirements.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and report-writing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work effectively as part of a fully remote team.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
