Role Overview

As part of the delivery of asset management and investment work to our existing clients, the AG Transactional Real Estate team is looking to appoint multiple Associates to act as dedicated resources for designated clients within a structured delivery model. You will be delivering legal services using innovative ways of working and embracing forward-thinking approaches to drive value.

Job Location

Offering increased certainty and flexibility in hours, the role can be office-based or primarily home-based with travel to the Manchester office at least twice per month (to be agreed based on the individual's level of experience). There will be additional attendance required initially for training with the team and occasional visits to other offices to meet with the client.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a dedicated legal resource for a key client, developing a strong understanding of their business within a structured delivery model supported by the wider firm.
  • Manage your own caseload, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures, including drafting and negotiating leases, ancillary property documents, tenant due diligence enquiries, lease management applications, and assisting with due diligence on acquisition and disposal.
  • Oversee transaction completion processes, maintain accurate matter status updates, and manage personal financial responsibilities, including WIP, billing, and write-offs.
  • Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work across lettings and property management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external advisers, acting as a key point of contact and participating in client engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with the wider client account team to share best practice, drive process improvements, maintain consistency of approach, and support wider real estate transactions as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
