Job Title

Remote Receptionist – UK Healthcare Sector

Job Description

We’re Hiring: Remote Receptionist – UK Healthcare Sector

We are looking for a highly skilled and professional Remote Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team and become the first point of contact for our patients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to handle enquiries, convert them into bookings, and provide a warm and professional patient experience.

Working Hours

  • 40 hours per week

Schedule

  • Wednesday to Sunday – UK Time

Employment Type

  • Full-time Remote

Salary

  • To be discussed during the interview

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls professionally and convert enquiries into bookings.
  • Provide a warm, friendly, and efficient patient experience.
  • Manage appointments, cancellations, payments, and invoicing.
  • Maintain enquiry lists and assist with appointment coordination.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team.
  • Process payments securely using remote systems.
  • Identify and escalate issues when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in reception, customer service, administration, or sales-based roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and telephone-handling skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, booking systems, and virtual communication tools.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organised, and work independently.
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional home-working setup.
  • Ability to work according to UK time and Wednesday–Sunday rotational shifts.
