About SkyBound
SkyBound is a fast‑moving, design‑led tech company redefining automated drone operations. Our mission is to save, protect, and improve lives through intelligent, real‑time aerial solutions.
From our Southampton HQ, we combine cutting‑edge AI, advanced visualisation, and next‑generation drone technology to deliver rapid‑response, high‑impact tools across Rail, Highways, Ports, and more.
We’re scaling quickly and are now looking for a Remote Safety Pilot/Coordinator to support safe, compliant, and effective flight operations across our automated drone systems.
Role Summary
As a Remote Safety Pilot/Coordinator, you will play a key role in the safe delivery, testing, and coordination of SkyBound’s automated drone systems (ADS). You’ll support practical flight testing, mission planning, risk mitigation, and operational coordination, ensuring every deployment meets the highest safety and compliance standards.
This role is ideal for someone with strong aviation discipline, excellent organisational skills, and hands‑on drone experience - particularly those holding a GVC qualification and comfortable working in dynamic, real‑world environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
