Remote | £28,000–£33,000 Basic + OEM Training + Benefits | Immediate Start

Are you working in engineering, maintenance, technical support or field service and looking for a new opportunity?

Or perhaps you have some mechanical or electrical knowledge and would like to move into a remote technical support role?

One of our clients is looking for a Remote Service Engineer to join their established team within the food processing and engineering industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a practical or technical background who enjoys solving problems, helping people and learning how machinery works.

Full training on the company's equipment and systems will be provided.

The Role

As a Remote Service Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers and engineers by telephone and remotely.

You will listen to the problem, use your existing knowledge to help diagnose faults and provide practical troubleshooting support.

You don't need to be an expert in every area. The client will provide training to help you understand their equipment and systems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing technical support to customers and engineers by phone
  • Helping diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Troubleshooting problems with machinery and equipment
  • Asking questions to understand technical issues

  • Recording support requests and updating relevant information
  • Learning about the company's products and equipment
  • Working with the wider technical team when additional support is required
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Completing training on the company's equipment and systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
