Fed up of being on the tools all day? This role uses the same technical knowledge from a desk. You'll own design sign-off, install quality, DNO applications and handover packs across our installations, with a small team under you.

This is a senior role and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with the business. For the right person there is a clear route to a directorship and an equity stake as we scale.

About Us

GEKO Energy is a new MCS-certified solar installer, but we're not starting from scratch. We're built on years of success in solar lead generation and sales, and that gives us a pipeline and a commercial engine most new installers don't have. The ambition is to be a top five UK installer within five years.

The Role

Design and pre-installation

  • Review technical surveys for completeness and accuracy, and go back to surveyors where something doesn't stack up
  • Sign off system designs before anything is committed, covering panel layout, string design, inverter and battery selection, cable routes, isolation and earthing
  • Produce and check single line diagrams and system schematics
  • Flag structural, access or scaffolding issues early, before they become site problems

DNO applications

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
