We’re looking for motivated, reliable and customer-focused Surveillance Officers to join our busy Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) in Bromborough.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll play an important part in protecting people, properties and businesses across the UK. You’ll be monitoring alarms and lone workers, responding to incidents, liaising with emergency services and supporting customers when they need us most.
What you’ll be doing
- Monitoring Lone Workers, including those working in vulnerable situations
- Monitoring CCTV and intruder alarms at a range of sites
- Responding to security incidents and emergency situations
- Liaising with Police, emergency services and engineering teams
- Arranging security guards and emergency repairs
- Taking emergency repair calls and accurately recording information
- Working across a range of IT systems and CRM platforms
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Working towards team and individual performance targets
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who are calm, confident and able to think on their feet.
You’ll need:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A genuine desire to help people
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and different software systems
- The ability to remain calm and make good decisions under pressure
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage a changing and sometimes fast-paced workload
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- A full 5-year checkable work history
