Role Description

This is a remote contract opportunity for a Vacation Planning Specialist.

This role is a great fit for career changers, travel enthusiasts, stay-at-home parents, or anyone looking for a flexible, meaningful remote opportunity built around something they love.

In this role, you will work directly with clients to design and coordinate personalized travel experiences from start to finish — understanding their preferences, recommending destinations, and managing bookings including flights, accommodations, cruises, and activities.

You will also collaborate with travel partners, maintain client communication, and ensure each trip is well-organized and stress-free.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, goals, and budget
  • Design customized travel itineraries based on client needs
  • Coordinate bookings for flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
  • Provide recommendations and guidance throughout the planning process
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients
  • Manage reservations, payments, and travel documentation accurately
  • Stay informed on destinations, travel updates, and supplier offerings

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bookings
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Genuine interest in travel planning and helping others create meaningful experiences
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or travel is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with travel booking platforms is a plus
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
