We are currently working with a leading international removals company seeking a customer-focused Removals Account Manager to join its team in Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and coordinating multiple enquiries. Previous removals industry experience would be advantageous, although candidates with an excellent customer service background will also be considered.
What you'll do
As Removals Account Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for your clients, providing a first-class service throughout the enquiry and booking process.
A typical day will involve liaising with overseas partners, preparing quotations for new enquiries, updating existing clients, arranging in-home or virtual surveys, and handing confirmed moves over to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent standard of customer service throughout the enquiry and booking process
- Act as the main point of contact for your individual clients
- Respond to new online enquiries and prepare accurate quotations
- Update and manage existing customer enquiries
- Liaise with overseas partners and request rates
- Arrange in-home or virtual surveys to support accurate move planning and cost estimates
- Follow up on quotations according to the proposed move date
- Contact clients through different communication platforms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
- Keep informed of relevant customs requirements and procedures
- Hand confirmed bookings over to the appropriate move management or operations team
- Work closely with colleagues, overseas agents, and other third-party partners

What you need
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- A strong customer service background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and overseas partners
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
- A proactive approach to following up quotations and customer enquiries
- Previous removals, relocation, or international moving experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
