Location: Hampshire
Hours and Salary: 40 Hours p/w at A GBP 15.35p/h (contracted) + overtime
Start: ASAP
We're currently looking to appoint an experienced Removals HGV Class 2 Driver, on behalf of our established Removals and Storage client, based in Hampshire.
What You'll Do
A typical day will involve packing, wrapping and moving customers' furniture and personal effects. Having a Category C driving licence and physical strength is vital for this role.
Responsibilities Include
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for local and regional removals
- Pack, load and unload furniture and household items with care, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Communicate clearly with customers
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
- Assist with warehouse and yard duties as needed

What You Need
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within removals or logistics sectors
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving environments with knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently under pressure
