Removals Location Manager
We’re recruiting a Removals Location Manager to join an established removals business in North east Scotland. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the location, leading the team, planning operations, looking after customers and making sure the branch performs at its best. The package also includes a company car.
What you'll be managing:
- Planning daily removals activity, including crews, vehicles and schedules.
- Overseeing household and commercial moves from preparation through to completion.
- Managing drivers, porters and operational staff across the location.
- Dealing with service issues, customer queries and operational changes as they arise.
- Making sure moves are correctly staffed, resourced and scheduled.
- Working closely with removals surveyors and sales teams to ensure accurate handovers.
- Keeping operational records, job information and branch administration up to date.

What we're looking for:

- Previous management experience within the removals industry.
- Good knowledge of removals operations, crew planning and vehicle scheduling.
- Experience managing operational teams and day-to-day workloads.
- A practical understanding of domestic and commercial removals services.
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to organise multiple jobs and changing priorities effectively.
