Do you have the operational experience to manage crews while still being hands-on with removals work in London?
We’re working with a removals company looking to recruit a Removals Operations Manager for its operation in Northwest London. This is a hands-on position within the moving and removals sector, combining day-to-day operational management with practical involvement in removals, warehouse work and driving when required, a perfect role for a forward thinker looking to modernise and optimise the company's processes to reach their KPIs. The role will also include some Saturday shifts.

- Managing daily removals operations and allocating work to crews and drivers.
- Planning removals schedules, vehicle requirements and staffing for upcoming jobs.
- Working alongside crews and getting involved with removals and warehouse duties when required.
- Coordinating crews throughout the day and dealing with operational changes as they arise.
- Driving 3.5 tonne removal vans when needed.
- Operating a counterbalance forklift as part of warehouse and removals operations.
- Making sure vehicles, equipment and operational paperwork are ready for scheduled removals.
- Maintaining high customer service standards throughout the entire moving process.

Our client is particularly interested in candidates with:
- Previous operations management experience within the moving and removals industry.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved with removals and warehouse work.
- Good knowledge of day-to-day removals operations, including crew and vehicle scheduling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
- A full driving licence and previous experience driving 3.5 tonne vans.
- Flexibility to work some Saturday shifts.
