We are seeking an experienced Removals Operations Supervisor to join a well-established removals company in Greenford, Greater London. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional with experience in household goods (HHG) and commercial removals services to oversee daily operations and ensure consistently high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day delivery of household goods (HHG), commercial and office removal operations.
- Coordinate removal crews, drivers, vehicles, and equipment to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Plan and oversee daily removal schedules, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Brief crews on job requirements, access restrictions, customer expectations, and special handling requirements.
- Monitor operational performance throughout the day and resolve delays, staffing issues, and service challenges.
- Ensure removal crews comply with company health and safety procedures, manual handling requirements, and safe working practices.
- Maintain high standards of customer service throughout each move and promptly address operational concerns or complaints.
- Liaise with customers, surveyors, move coordinators, sales teams, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth job execution.
- Conduct vehicle, equipment, and operational checks to ensure resources are maintained and ready.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of removals drivers, porters, and crews.
- Monitor productivity, overtime, vehicle utilization, and other operational costs to support profitable service delivery.
- Maintain accurate operational records, job documentation, incident reports, and performance information.

- Previous operational experience within the removals, relocation, or household goods industry.
- Experience supervising removal crews, drivers, or other field-based operational teams.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and resource-allocation skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good knowledge of health and safety, manual handling, and operational compliance requirements.
- Strong customer-service skills with the ability to manage operational issues professionally and effectively.
