An exciting opportunity for a Secretary to join the Renal Department at Dorset County Hospital
This is a varied, interesting and rewarding role, and we are looking for a post holder who is professional, confident, keen and friendly. You will need to be able to communicate with everyone in the MDT, including consultants, nurses, secretaries, patients and external agencies so having excellent communication skills is essential to the role.
The post is based at South Walks House, Dorset County Hospital.
The post holder will be expected to undertake a range of general administrative duties for the department including clinic typing, answer telephone and email queries; and handle and distribute incoming post.
The job holder would be expected to act on their own initiative and be responsible for their own actions and be able to make decisions within their role and seek advice, if required, from various members of the MDT team.
As a member of a team in the department, the post holder will be expected to work flexibly with other members of the team to ensure the best possible patient care.
