Senior Renal Technician Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic Senior Renal Technician to work in our busy and friendly Renal Unit.

About the Role

You will work as part of a dedicated team involved in the running of our Acute Dialysis unit and providing technical support to our 2 satellite dialysis units in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, calibrate, and repair dialysis machines and related equipment in the Renal Unit, within patients' homes, and other areas within the Trust where dialysis equipment is located.
  • Provide technical support to appropriate medical staff, nurses, and patients in the renal unit and across other specialties within the Trust as required.
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of new dialysis therapies and techniques in consultation with medical staff and dialysis companies.
  • Maintain and service water purification equipment including the periodic disinfection of such systems.
