About the role
Elite Energy is continuing to expand as one of the North East’s leading renewable installation companies. With a strong reputation for high-quality solar PV, battery systems, EV charging solutions, inverters, and air-source heat pumps, we’re growing our sales team to meet increasing demand from homeowners looking to reduce their bills and future-proof their energy use.
We are looking for an experienced Renewable Sales Consultant to help customers choose suitable renewable energy solutions. Previous sales experience across Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and EV Chargers is essential.

- Recommend suitable Solar PV, ASHP and EV charging solutions, working with technical teams to confirm suitability.
- Explain system benefits, installation requirements and estimated savings clearly and accurately.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations.
- Follow up enquiries, negotiate agreements and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and forecasts within the CRM system.
- Coordinate with surveyors and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer handover.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
