Company Description
We are Renewable World. We enable people living in poverty to transform their lives by improving their access to clean energy, empowering them to develop sustainable and resilient livelihoods, and mitigating the impact of climate change.
Increasing access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy for the poorest requires innovation and investment, but market failures often limit progress. We don’t just implement renewable clean energy technologies. In Kenya and Nepal, we focus on the markets that matter to people in poverty, galvanising new partnerships, piloting innovations, and leveraging clean energy to deliver catalytic change.

To help achieve our vision of a sustainable and fairer world where clean energy is accessible to all, we’re launching our Ambassadors Programme – an inspiring community of innovators, changemakers, and clean energy advocates.
We are seeking passionate, well-connected people who can help champion our work, introduce us to new networks, and make a real difference to the lives of the communities we support.
As a small and agile organisation, we value meaningful contributions – from making introductions to key contacts and sharing insights, to representing us at key events. Together, we’ll accelerate progress toward a world where clean energy transforms lives, strengthens communities, and safeguards our planet for generations to come.

What You’ll Do
As an Ambassador, you could:

Make Connections Your role could connect us with the right people by sharing your personal networks, introducing the charity to influential individuals and organisations, unlocking new opportunities, and identifying potential funding partners.

Spread awareness You could represent the charity at events, raise our profile with influential people, and open doors to new opportunities. These could range from funding partnerships to ambassador introductions, or even access to exclusive venues or services.

Offer us your expertise Your experience can help guide our strategy, from offering organisational advice to joining planning sessions and sharing expertise that drives real impact.

Commitment
This is a flexible, voluntary role — Ambassadors can work flexibly to suit their preferences, availability, and interests. Your support can be carried out both online and in person. Any costs associated with the role will be reimbursed.
