Job Summary
As a Renewables Callout Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers facing technical issues.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing emergency callouts via admin systems and other channels.
- Coordinating with engineers.
- Ensuring smooth customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage technical callout requests via:
- Phone
- Online systems
- Assess emergency repairs based on urgency and safety.
- Promptly schedule and dispatch engineers.
- Provide clear, professional, and empathetic customer communication.
- Accurately log customer details and job statuses in systems.
- Offer basic troubleshooting advice.
- Collaborate between customers, engineers, and management for timely resolution.
- Monitor ongoing callouts and follow up with customers post-service.
- Identify recurring issues and customer feedback to recommend process improvements.
- Comply with health and safety policies.

Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in customer service (technical background preferred).
- Basic understanding of:
- Solar
- Electric Vehicles (EV)
- Battery systems
- Heat Pumps
- Common faults (advantageous)
- Strong communication skills:
- Verbal
- Written
- Exceptional organisation:
- Multitasking under pressure
- Calm, professional demeanour in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Proficiency in call management software.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Flexibility:
- Work outside standard hours (on-call shifts as needed).
