Recruitment for Renewal Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Renewal Coordinator to join our Gloucester office who will support our Insurance Advisers in finding the right policy to suit their needs and budget. You will work in a high volume, fast-paced environment, where teamwork and continuous improvement are key. As a business regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Renewals team, you'll play a key role in helping customers maintain the right insurance cover while delivering an outstanding service experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing insurance renewals from start to finish, ensuring policies are updated accurately and efficiently.
  • Submitting renewal applications to insurers in a timely manner to secure appropriate cover for our customers.
  • Communicating with customers by phone, email, letter and SMS to discuss renewal options.
  • Supporting customer retention by building strong relationships and helping customers understand the benefits of staying with their current insurer where appropriate.
  • Liaising with insurers to negotiate renewal terms and retention incentives for customers.
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of our insurance products and services.
  • Delivering excellent customer service while meeting quality standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Staying up to date with industry regulations, market developments and company procedures.
  • Sharing knowledge and best practice with colleagues to support team success.
  • Assisting with additional tasks and projects as required to support the wider business.

What We're Looking For

  • Proactive with a natural drive to succeed.
  • First class attention to detail skills with ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • 2 years + experience of working in a fast paced customer service environment.
  • Industry experience is not important, we'll train you in everything you need to know about Private Medical Insurance.
