Are you confident speaking to customers, good at building relationships and comfortable having conversations around renewals?

We are looking for a Renewals Executive to join a friendly and supportive team in Telford. This is a customer focused role where you will take ownership of your customers, manage renewal conversations and help deliver a great experience from start to finish.

You will be speaking with customers ahead of their renewal, understanding their requirements, reviewing the options available and making sure they receive clear and accurate information to help them make the right decision.

The role

  • Proactively contact customers ahead of their renewal
  • Manage renewal enquiries by telephone and email
  • Understand customer requirements and ask the right questions to make sure their details and needs are accurate
  • Review available options and provide clear information and advice
  • Build strong customer relationships to encourage long term retention
  • Handle renewal objections confidently and work towards agreed retention targets
  • Identify appropriate opportunities to introduce additional products or services
  • Liaise with external partners and other teams where required
  • Complete customer documentation accurately and maintain clear records
  • Work towards agreed income, retention and customer service targets
  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and in line with regulatory requirements

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in renewals, or sales is essential
  • Maths and English Grade C or 4 or above
  • Excellent telephone manner and confident communication skills
  • Someone who enjoys speaking to customers and building genuine relationships
  • Good attention to detail and the confidence to ask questions where information needs clarifying
  • A commercially minded approach with the ability to work towards targets
  • The ability to handle objections and have confident conversations with customers
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
  • Good IT skills, including email, internet and CRM systems
  • A customer focused approach with a genuine desire to provide a positive experience
  • Previous experience working within a regulated environment would be beneficial
  • GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent

  • A GBP 26,000 to A GBP 27,000 basic salary + Commission
