Help leading financial institutions maximise value from their front-office technology investments

Across global capital markets, investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading firms are under increasing pressure to modernise front-office operations, improve trading efficiency, optimise market data consumption, enhance investment decision-making, and streamline execution workflows.

As technology landscapes become increasingly complex, financial institutions need trusted partners that can help them realise value from strategic technology investments while navigating operational, regulatory, and commercial challenges.

At FIS, our Front Office and Portfolio Solutions Group technologies support some of the world's leading financial institutions across trading, market data, analytics, portfolio management, investment decisioning, and execution workflows.

We are now seeking a Front Office Client Retention Manager to protect and grow recurring revenue across strategic client relationships while helping customers maximise the value of their FIS investment.

The impact you'll have

This role is about more than contract renewals.

You'll serve as a strategic partner to clients, helping protect critical commercial relationships, drive value realisation, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen long-term retention outcomes across some of the most sophisticated organisations in global capital markets.

You'll:

  • Own assigned quarterly and annual renewal targets across a portfolio of Front Office and Portfolio Solutions Group customers.
  • Lead the end-to-end renewal lifecycle, from early engagement and strategy development through commercial negotiations and execution.
  • Protect and grow recurring revenue through proactive account planning and renewal management.
  • Identify renewal risks early and implement mitigation and recovery strategies.
  • Build trusted executive-level relationships across client organisations.
  • Support targeted expansion opportunities and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Product, Legal, and Client Success teams to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Help modernise renewal processes through improved governance, analytics, automation, and operational discipline.

What you'll be representing

You'll represent FIS Front Office Capital Markets and Portfolio Solutions Group offerings that help clients:

  • Improve trading efficiency and execution effectiveness.
  • Optimise market data strategies and consumption models.
  • Enhance investment and portfolio decision-making capabilities.
  • Modernise front-office workflows and operating models.
  • Improve analytics, reporting, and operational visibility.
  • Support technology transformation and cloud initiatives.
  • Drive revenue growth through more effective client-facing operations.

How you'll do it

  • Manage complex commercial renewal cycles across strategic financial institution accounts.
  • Develop renewal strategies aligned to customer objectives and business outcomes.
  • Conduct executive business reviews focused on value delivery and future requirements.
  • Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and contract renewals.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across Trading, Investment Management, Technology, Operations, Procurement, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Use data, reporting, product utilisation insights, and engagement metrics to assess account health and renewal risk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to remove commercial blockers and accelerate decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen customer adoption and long-term retention.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and CRM reporting.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
