What You'll Do

  • Oversee rent reviews for non-housing tenancies and assured periodic tenancies
  • Prepare rent review reports for letting managers to assess and improve market rental values
  • Issue section 13 notices and provide supporting comparable market evidence to tenants
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants regarding rent increases, responding to queries and negotiating between landlords and tenants where appropriate
  • Update internal systems following agreed rent increases to ensure accurate account and tenancy records
  • Maintain a spreadsheet tracking all completed rent review negotiations and outcomes
  • Work proactively to ensure rent review negotiations are commenced approximately 3 months before implementation
  • Record all completed rent review deals and invoicing on a separate system (SS)
  • Provide rent increases for a separate key client
  • Ensure follow-on deals are invoiced
  • Keep track of credit and refunds due to landlords.

Tenancy Management:

  • Manage end of tenancy administration for non-managed properties
  • Coordinate and process change of sharing requests for non-managed properties including referencing and sending out new paperwork.

What You'll Need

  • Be able to build and maintain client relationships
  • Previous experience using Reapit is desirable
  • Previous experience essential
  • Must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • A self-starter, proactive at managing the workload, but also willing to help others
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent working with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
