  • Monday–Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
  • Plus alternate Saturdays 9.00am – 1.00pm

The Role

The purpose of the rental advisor is to provide support to the rental manager and team. Delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction is paramount to this role. The role will involve meeting and greeting rental customers face-to-face and offering advice on the appropriate services. Answering telephone / online queries promptly and politely is a large part of the role. The role will involve handling visa transactions, arranging insurance cover and completing rental paperwork accurately for both customers and the internal accounts department. Business generation will form part of the role; therefore, the post holder will be required to conduct prospecting telephone calls and convert enquiries into bookings. The role may also occasionally require assisting the driving team in delivering and collecting customers and vehicles in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a full valid driving licence and proven customer advisory and administrative experience, preferably in a similar role within the motor or logistics industry. They will have the ability to process information accurately and efficiently. Computer literacy is essential, including a working knowledge of Microsoft packages. It is essential the successful candidate has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Working as part of a team, being flexible and being able to work overtime on occasions, along with having a customer-focused approach, are necessary to be successful in this role.
