SUMMARY:
Repair Centre Technician
Perform repairs to Monoblock X Ray Tanks and X-ray tube repairs to component level
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Technical
- Responsible for depot level repairs down to component level of monoblock X Ray tanks and X-ray tube assemblies. Perform un-crating, bench testing, diagnosis, repair, install repaired assembly on test system for final operational testing, crating of repaired assembly.
Administrative
- Document each repair activity in designated depot repair application as per procedure.
- Maintain inventory of defective assemblies and necessary repair components
- Proactively coordinate stocking level needs with order management to ensure defectives and repair components are on hand to meet repair demand
- Provide weekly repair metrics reports to Tech Ops mgmt.
- Perform email, timecard and other necessary admin duties as prescribed
Time Management
- Office hours based at Bedford
Communication
- Direct report to the Senior Manager Technical Support-UK/EU
Team Working
- Working within the Support Team, Service Department, Supply Chain Department and Engineering Department Testing and Repairing modules to a component Level.
Cross Functional Working
- Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful repairs of identified part assemblies across multiple products.
- Promote the support department maintaining cross functional relationships
Health & Safety
- Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures
- Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE properly used

Requirements
- High level Electronic, Electrical and electromechanical knowledge
- Repair Centre Background or similar
Experience
- Proven experience of technical repairs on high level assemblies containing electronic, electromechanical, x-ray producing devices systems and modules
- Previous experience in a similar working environment
- Experience working with High Voltage producing devices
- Solid working knowledge of:
- Electronics
- Software
- Firmware
- Windows Operating System
- High Level Problem solving
- 5 Year traceable work history
- Fluent Written and Spoken English
- Valid UK Passport

Wide ranging technical background
- Previous experience in all or some of the following areas:
- Automation
- Conveyor systems
- Control systems
- Electrical power systems
- Medical or industrial x-ray based systems
Qualifications
- IT, Electrical & Controls qualifications to be taken into consideration

Pay Range
£34,800.00-£43,500.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
