Overview
Repairs Operative
Location: Selkirk (with travel to sites across Scotland and the UK as required)
Salary: £13.62 to £15.39 per hour
Panton McLeod is a specialist contractor delivering high-quality repair, maintenance, and structural solutions across the UK's water and infrastructure sectors. We are looking for hardworking, safety-focused Repairs Operatives to join our growing team based out of Selkirk.

What you'll be doing
This is a physically demanding, site-based role that includes routine confined space working and regular travel across Scotland and the UK.

- Carrying out concrete repairs, structural repairs, coatings and linings, pipework, civils, and groundwork activities.
- Working safely in accordance with approved RAMS and method statements.
- Setting up and maintaining safe working areas, including barriers, signage, and access equipment.
- Mixing, applying, and finishing repair materials to manufacturer specifications.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and small plant safely and correctly.
- Completing pre-use equipment inspections and reporting defects.
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Working collaboratively with Site Supervisors and fellow operatives to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

What we’re looking for
- Experience working within construction, infrastructure, utilities, or engineering.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work at height safely and in confined spaces.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
