- Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum - (dependent on experience)

As a Repair Technician, you will gain invaluable insight and experience within a hard-working Production team who have a demonstrable daily impact on a growing organisation. The Role
As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections to troubleshoot fundamental automation issues on a wide range of industrial equipment including variable speed drives, PLCs, touchscreen HMIs and power supplies.

- Service and refurbish equipment by cleaning and replacing aged or faulty components and mechanical assemblies.
- Test industrial electronic and electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality, following established procedures.
- Identify component parts and part numbers, with a commitment to ongoing learning in this area.
- Actively develop soldering skills with enthusiasm for mastering this essential repair technique.
- Interpret and apply basic electrical schematics and technical drawings, following established test procedures with accuracy.
- Efficiently utilize the job management system to document work progress and maintain precise repair records.
About You
With excellent problem-solving skills, and with a desire to share your knowledge and learn new skills, furthermore, you will have
- Minimum GCSE achievement: Grade 4/C or above
- Demonstrated strong interest in engineering and technical subjects
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot effectively
- Experience using small hand tools, gained through previous roles or educational projects
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a willingness to undertake this qualification
- Ability to accurately identify electronic components and interpret part numbers
- Experience in cleaning, testing, and inspecting industrial automation components
- Proficiency in soldering techniques for electronic repair
- Basic mechanical skills with hands-on experience in assembly or maintenance tasks
