Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Repair Technician at Snag Doctor London, Kent & Southeast. The Repair Technician will carry out on-site repairs and restoration of a variety of hard surfaces, including worktops, bathroom fixtures, tiles, UPVC, doors, windows, and flooring. The role involves traveling to customer locations, maintaining tools and equipment, documenting work, and following safety and quality standards. The Repair Technician will interact directly with customers, provide clear updates, and support excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in surface and appliance repair, including hands-on experience with tools, materials, and restoration techniques.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose damage, identify appropriate repair methods, and adapt to different surface types and site conditions.
- Candidates should possess equipment maintenance skills to keep tools, repair kits, and vehicles in safe, reliable working order.
- Candidates should possess communication and customer satisfaction skills, including clear verbal communication, professional conduct on-site, and a focus on delivering quality results and positive customer experiences.
- Relevant experience in repair, construction, property maintenance, or a related trade is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and travel to customer locations across London, Kent, and the Southeast is required.
- A valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the UK are preferred.
