Repairs Administrator – Full Time

We are currently looking to recruit a Full-time Repairs Administrator to join our Repair Administration Team which manage our customer warranty repair and stock refurbishment requirements. You will act as the key point of contact between customers, technicians and suppliers to action warranty repairs in house with our technical team or to return units for repair with external service centres. Administrative skills are essential to keep internal records updated and relevant parties informed of the progress of repairs. Being a musician/having knowledge of a range of musical instruments would also be an advantage in this role.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task
- Experience of using Excel and other desktop applications
- Clear and articulate telephone manner
- High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately
- Hands-on experience and technical knowledge of guitars, pedals and amplifiers
- Some product knowledge/experience with Pro Audio, Hi-Tech or Drum equipment would be a bonus

Key Tasks
- Manage and progress customer/stock repairs entered in our bespoke software
- Ensure progress is logged accurately within the software and that customers are updated regularly on progress
- Chase up all outstanding repairs with suppliers
- Book returns with suppliers and arrange the return of repaired stock to customers/back to our off-site warehouse for restock
- Generate quotes for non-warranty issues and new part orders following management approval.
- Order necessary parts from manufacturers per technician’s evaluation following management approval.
- Be the first contact point for all general enquiries on repair-related questions.

Extra Information
- Contract Type: Full Time
- Working Hours: 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday
- Salary: Competitive
- Job Location: Andertons Warehouse, Guildford Unit 7 Cobbett Park, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 1RU
