Repairs & Planned Works Surveyor

As a Repairs & Planned Works Surveyor in Manchester, you'll be focused on ensuring the smooth delivery of property maintenance and improvement projects within the not-for-profit sector. Your role will involve carrying out inspections, managing contractors, and ensuring that all works meet the required standards to keep properties safe and well-maintained.

This organisation operates within the not-for-profit sector across the North West providing Housing Solutions.

Description

  • Inspect properties to identify required repairs and planned works.
  • Prepare detailed schedules of work and specifications for projects.
  • Manage contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of works.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  • Carry out pre- and post-inspections of completed works.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Handle any issues or disputes that arise during the course of works.

Job Offer

  • An hourly rate of £32.00 to £36.00, dependent on the level of experience.
  • A temporary contract within Social Housing.
  • Possible temp to perm.
  • Flexible and hybrid working.
