Repairs Planner

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a busy Property Services team, coordinating responsive repairs and maintenance across a social housing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong repairs planning and scheduling experience to join an established team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tenant/resident repair enquiries and assess repair requirements
  • Schedule and coordinate repairs, appointments and operative diaries
  • Allocate works to operatives and contractors
  • Liaise with residents, contractors and internal teams
  • Manage customer expectations and resolve enquiries at first point of contact where possible
  • Monitor workloads, capacity and repair timescales
  • Maintain accurate records using housing management, repairs and CRM systems
  • Escalate complex repairs, compliance and health & safety issues
  • Work to agreed KPIs, SLAs and customer service standards

Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Previous experience within social housing, housing associations, local authority housing or housing repairs
  • Experience as a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler, Maintenance Planner, Repairs Coordinator or similar
  • Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and housing maintenance
  • Experience scheduling operatives, managing diaries and coordinating appointments
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using housing repairs, scheduling or CRM systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines and targets

Pay & Benefits

  • £20 per hour Umbrella
  • Hybrid working
  • 3 month contract with potential of extension opportunity within a social housing/property services environment
