About PPL

PPL licenses recorded music in the UK when it is played in public or broadcast, and ensures that performers and recording rightsholders are paid fairly for the use of their music. Accurate, high-quality data underpins everything we do, enabling us to maximise revenue generation and distribute royalties efficiently to our members.

About the Team

The repertoire team at PPL are music data specialists. We live, breathe and love it, using our expert knowledge to maximise the money our members are paid when their music is played. At the heart of our team is the PPL Repertoire Database, holding details of over 28 million tracks – and counting. As Repertoire Data Administrator, you will support the Repertoire Data Team Manager and Supervisor in the provision of recording, rights, and music reporting data management services. You will help ensure data provided by PPL members, licensees, and other CMOs is accurate, complete, and compliant with PPL policies, enabling revenue to be processed and paid through effectively.

  • Analyse repertoire, rights, and music reporting data using specialist applications and reporting tools such as Salesforce, Alliant, Birst, Tableau, and AWS.
  • Monitor data compliance against PPL’s Repertoire Data Policy and Music Reporting Policy, identifying and resolving data issues in line with agreed procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Repertoire, Member Services, International, Distribution, Business Services, Technology, and Broadcast Licensing to improve data quality.
  • Carry out manual intervention and maintenance activities to add, correct, and enrich prioritised UK and international repertoire and member data.
  • Support workstreams relating to rightsholder data, music reporting data, international repertoire, and Business Services projects.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely responses to internal and external queries, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Assist with workflow management, process documentation, team training, and quality assurance activities.
  • Identify and escalate issues that could impact service delivery, quality, or deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
