Role Description
The Reporter role at Tera Labs is a full-time, on-site position based in London. The Reporter will research, investigate, and produce original news stories, features, and analysis across digital platforms.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Identifying newsworthy topics
- Conducting interviews
- Verifying facts
- Writing clear, accurate, and engaging articles under deadline
The Reporter will collaborate with editors, multimedia specialists, and other team members to shape coverage, develop story angles, and incorporate visuals, audio, or data where appropriate. The role also involves:
- Monitoring relevant beats
- Attending events or briefings
- Maintaining professional relationships with sources and stakeholders

- Strong reporting skills, including research, interviewing, and fact-checking.
- Excellent writing and news writing abilities with attention to clarity, accuracy, and structure.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging with sources.
- Experience with multimedia storytelling, such as video, audio, or interactive digital content.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools, social media platforms, and audience engagement best practices.
- Strong ethical judgment and commitment to impartial, inclusive, and accurate reporting.
