Role Description
The Reporter is a full-time, on-site role based in Pleasley. This role involves gathering information from internal and external sources, conducting interviews, and producing clear, accurate written reports on health, safety, and quality-related topics. The Reporter will write news-style articles, prepare summaries of key events, and create multimedia content such as photos or short videos to support reporting where appropriate. Daily responsibilities include monitoring relevant developments, verifying facts, collaborating with colleagues to shape story angles, and ensuring all content adheres to iSAFE’s standards and applicable regulations. The Reporter will also support internal communications by preparing updates and briefings for clients and team members.

- Strong Reporting and News Writing skills to gather information and produce accurate, timely stories.
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills to present complex topics in a clear, accessible manner.
- Ability to work with Multimedia formats (e.g., images, basic video or audio) to enhance reports and presentations.
- Attention to detail, fact-checking abilities, and a commitment to ethical and impartial reporting.
- Good understanding of or interest in health, safety, and quality topics; prior experience in these areas is an advantage.
- Proficiency with standard office and content tools (e.g., word processing, basic layout or CMS platforms).
- Ability to work on-site in Pleasley, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines independently and within a team.
- Relevant education or training in journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
