Reporting Accountant

We have a fantastic opening for a Reporting Accountant to join our Finance Team.
Our Backstage support teams are crucial to the delivery across all five of our venues – The NEC, bp pulse LIVE, Utilita Arena Birmingham, the ICC, and Vox - and include IT, Finance, Marketing, People, Legal, Safety and Procurement. Collaborating seamlessly with our frontline operational teams to create unforgettable moments for the millions of people that visit us each year.
About The Role
As part of the Group Finance team, the Reporting Accountant will play a key role in the production of monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Produce accurate and timely periodic management accounts.
- Ensure event P&L performance is correctly reported through appropriate accruals, cost allocations, and financial adjustments.
- Support business decision-making by providing insightful, timely, and accurate financial information.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and controls.

About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognised accountancy qualification or demonstrate equivalent financial expertise gained through relevant experience.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering high-quality outputs to agreed deadlines.
- Be confident communicating financial information and concepts to non-finance colleagues in a clear way.
- Have experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or be willing to develop knowledge of the system.
