Reporting Accountant
Join our Group Finance team in Peterborough as a Reporting Accountant!
We’re looking for an experienced Reporting Accountant with strong financial accounting knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, hands-on approach.
You’ll take responsibility for a range of accounting activities, working closely with colleagues across Accounting, Transactional Accounting, and FP&A to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with statutory and German GAAP requirements. You’ll also build relationships with external auditors and tax advisors and help us continuously improve the way we work.

You’ll join our Accounting team within Group Finance, responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, statutory reporting, and reporting to Germany for the external consolidation of our UK entities.
The team also provides the foundations for our monthly internal management reporting and forms part of the wider Accounting & Banking department.

You’ll help ensure our accounting processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant, providing high-quality financial information that supports reporting and decision-making across the business.
You’ll also play an important role in identifying opportunities to improve processes, optimise workloads, and adapt to changes in our systems and ways of working.
Your role
- Manage accounting activities within your designated area of responsibility.
- Work closely with the team to ensure compliance with statutory and German GAAP requirements.
- Support accurate management and financial reporting.
- Build strong relationships with Transactional Accounting, FP&A, and other internal stakeholders.
- Act as a key point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and optimise workloads.
- Support and adapt to new systems, processes, and organisational changes.

The Skills you will bring
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and ideally 3 to 5 years’ accounting experience.
- Fluency in Polish and English is required.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on, and collaborative approach.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confidence managing multiple stakeholder requirements and working with ambiguity.
- A high level of professional integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience within a shared service centre and/or S/4HANA would be an advantage.
- A degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

This is a hybrid role based in Peterborough, UK.
