Job Profile
Our client is a leading legal services provider with a strong global presence. They are looking for a System Reporting Analyst that can provide maternity cover for the next 12 months. This role will be looking after all things to do with their reporting function for all areas of the business. Due to the importance of their data reporting, you will be required to partner with the business on understanding requirements for reports and creating these in alignment.
Their Datawarehouse is built on a mixture of on-premise T-SQL and cloud-based SQL, with the former being essential for the role. Currently using SSRS for all operation reporting, whilst Tableau provides the reporting solution for all other reports. You will work with the wider development team on working on Datawarehouse improvements over time, as well as continuing to both provide periodic reports for the business as well as looking at refining these solutions in the long term.

Responsibilities
- Write and maintain SQL queries for systematic and ad-hoc reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and management reports
- Extract, analyse, and validate data across our finance systems
- Carry out data quality assessment and cross-checking
- Support and maintain our standard reports catalogue
- Pick up and resolve support tickets assigned to them by the Finance Systems support team
- Work with non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate findings clearly

Skills
- SQL / T-SQL, with confidence writing and optimising queries
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), including report development and maintenance
- Tableau, ideally with experience building dashboards (Power BI is a secondary option - preference will be given to Tableau candidates)
- Data quality and validation
- Strong communication skills, particularly with non-technical users
Desirable experience
- SQL Server / SSMS
- Data warehousing concepts
- Experience within professional services, legal, or finance
