Reporting Analyst - Intern

Tech Pipeline is currently working with a UK infrastructure specialist with operations to address the operational drag that has built up in their reporting systems. We are looking for a Reporting Analyst - Intern to join us in identifying and fixing the seams where their data is breaking down. This is a fully remote position where you will focus on moving past manual workarounds and toward reports that provide clear, accurate information for their operations team. You will spend your time digging into how data flows through their systems and ensuring the reports actually match what is happening on the ground.

About Tech Pipeline

  • We fix the broken approval chains and manual reconciliations that slow companies down.
  • We work in the gap between the software a company already owns and the work that needs to happen.
  • We rebuild specific routing rules and consolidate drifting backlogs to restore order to a process.
  • We do not deliver abstract frameworks: we stay through the cutover and the first month of live operation to ensure the fix holds.
  • We believe the tool the client already owns is usually the right place for the fix.
  • Our goal is to remove daily drag so the team can return to the work that matters.
  • Every role at Tech Pipeline is fully remote, relying on clear documentation and named ownership.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and document stale data within the databases used by our UK infrastructure client.
  • Audit system logs to find where automated reports are failing to match actual operational reality.
  • Update SOPs to reflect new data entry standards and reporting workflows we implement.
  • Help reconcile manual spreadsheets against the primary database to ensure accuracy during data migrations.
  • Build and maintain basic dashboards that track operational performance metrics without unnecessary complexity.
  • Draft entries for the company decision log to document why specific reporting rules were changed or updated.
  • Support the team during the first month of live operations after a reporting update to catch any errors early.
  • Work within existing software configurations to fix broken data pipes rather than suggesting new tools.
  • Monitor the routing rules that govern how data is passed between departments to ensure no information is lost.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
