Are you a finance professional who enjoys delivering accurate reporting, strengthening financial controls and turning complex data into meaningful insight? At Whitbread, we're looking for a Finance Manager to lead our Internal Reporting & Control activities, ensuring the integrity of our monthly reporting while providing challenge and insight to senior stakeholders.

In this key role, you'll own the monthly internal reporting cycle for Whitbread PLC, delivering accurate and timely P&L and Balance Sheet reporting that supports decision-making across the business. You'll lead a team of analysts, partner with stakeholders across our business and help drive continuous improvement in our controls and reporting processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Champion Whitbread's Financial Control Framework, supporting audit requirements, compliance activities, process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen governance and reduce risk.
  • Lead, coach and support a team of Internal Reporting analysts, building strong relationships across Finance and deputising for the Financial Controller when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
