This is a role focused on building strong foundations: creating trusted reporting, improving data quality, simplifying our Tableau estate, driving self-service adoption and embedding reporting across key business transformation programmes, including Falconer.
Leading a team of analysts across Birmingham and Maidenhead, you'll balance strategic direction with hands-on delivery, ensuring data helps our leaders make better decisions and ultimately supports better outcomes for the families we serve.
What You'll Be Doing

- Identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and standardise reporting processes across the business.
- Supporting key transformation initiatives, including Falconer, by embedding reporting and performance insights.
- Establishing robust governance, data quality and reporting standards to ensure consistency and confidence in business information.
What You'll Bring
You're an experienced reporting and business intelligence leader who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for helping organisations make better decisions through data. You're comfortable leading teams, influencing stakeholders and translating complex business requirements into practical reporting solutions that deliver real value.
You'll have:
- Proven experience leading and developing a BI, reporting or data team.
- Strong Tableau expertise, with a track record of developing impactful dashboards, reporting solutions and best practices.
- A track record of reducing manual effort through automation and process improvement.
- Experience managing competing stakeholder requirements and influencing decision-making at all levels, including senior leadership teams.
- A strong understanding of data governance, data quality and trusted business reporting principles.
- Experience delivering reporting and insight solutions that support operational performance and strategic decision-making.
- Experience driving reporting transformation initiatives and increasing adoption of self-service reporting.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Death is part of life, and being there for families when it matters is what we do. That means making difficult moments feel more supported, more straightforward and more human.
We are building a modern group that supports families at every stage, from planning ahead with wills and funeral plans, to arranging a funeral, cremation or burial, and managing probate afterwards. This is a defining moment for our business. With stronger foundations, clearer strategy and real momentum, we can change end-of-life care for the better. We are modernising how we work, investing in our colleagues and technology, and helping more families than any one brand could alone.

Across all our brands, we want colleagues to grow with us through better training, stronger support, modern tools and clearer opportunities to build skills and confidence. You’ll be part of teams who care deeply about what they do, look out for each other and take pride in doing work that matters.
You will also help shape the future of end-of-life care. That means making support simpler, more connected and more human for families, while each brand keeps the identity, expertise and community connection people already know and trust.
