Reporting Officer
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Pay: £17.54 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: until 31 March 2027
A leading public sector organisation is looking for a Reporting Officer to join their Strategy, Planning and Engagement team on a contract basis.
This is a great opportunity to support corporate planning and performance reporting activities, working closely with senior stakeholders within the organisation.
The role
You will support the organisation’s corporate and quarterly reporting cycle, helping to coordinate, prepare and quality-check performance information to ensure it is accurate and consistent.

The role involves producing reports and presentations, collating and analysing data, and working with teams across the business to gather key inputs for planning and reporting, including contributions to core documents such as the Corporate and Business Plans.
Day-to-day, you’ll engage with colleagues to obtain information in the right format, while supporting document management and maintaining high-quality outputs.

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, who is confident working with data and producing clear, professional outputs.
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good experience using Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to analyse and organise information effectively
- Experience in a public sector or corporate environment
- A collaborative approach, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders across the business
- Good attention to detail and an eye for quality
