The Role in a Nutshell 🐿️

As a Reporting Specialist at Sustainable Energy First, you will play a pivotal role in delivering insightful energy reporting and forecasting solutions for key clients. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing client reporting that provides meaningful analysis, supports informed decision-making, and delivers added value to customer stakeholders.

This role is ideally suited to a detail-oriented individual with strong Excel skills. You will communicate reporting outcomes and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, building trusted relationships with key client contacts while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement of reporting data.

Requirements

You will be responsible for;

  • Creation of quality standard client reporting - Developing and preparing detailed, accurate, and timely reports for clients
  • Direct delivery of reporting to the client - Focus on the value add and insight.
  • Client Communication - Building client relationships and being a key point of contact for all things relating to the contracted reporting. Deliberate conversations with the client around the reporting, providing insight and opportunities not limited to the purpose of the report.
  • Continuous Improvements - Working with the Principal and Senior Reporting Specialist to identify opportunities to enhance the reporting process through automation.

About you;

  • Attention to detail - Precision in managing and reporting financial data
  • Analytical skills - Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends in areas of concern
  • Communication Skills - Ability to present financial information to clients
  • Problem Solving Skills - Ability to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in financial reports and correct them.
  • Industry knowledge - Gain knowledge of industry schemes and an understanding of commodity markets and their impact on reporting. Become a trusted source of utility financial information for stakeholders, proving reliability and knowledge.
  • Reporting tools - Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel
  • Relationship building & management - Development of strong relationships with customer contacts
  • Meeting Deadlines - Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines and communicate potential delays.
