Contract PMO Reporting Analyst
Bristol – Hybrid remote working
SC clearance is essential
Up to £54.40 p/h Inside IR35
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a security cleared PMO Reporting Analyst to join a growing IT organisation, supporting portfolio activities and providing assurance across a complex programme of change.
You will work as part of the PMO team, providing high-quality reporting, analysis and insight to support portfolio governance and senior decision-making. This is a varied role, requiring someone who can move comfortably between reporting, data analysis, PMO administration and continuous improvement activities.
What you'll be doing
- Collect, validate and manage performance data across the Digital Solutions portfolio.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel or similar tools.
- Produce standard and ad-hoc reporting packs for portfolio stakeholders.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Analyse performance data and identify trends, issues and opportunities.
- Present data and insights clearly to PMO leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance and project lifecycle processes.
- Support portfolio gating, reviews and assurance activities through accurate data and analysis.
- Work closely with DIO, portfolio leads and functional teams.
- Translate business requirements into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
- Provide senior stakeholders with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive improvements across PMO tools, analytics capabilities and data processes.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of PMO reporting frameworks.
- Provide PMO administration and wider portfolio support as required.

- Experience working within a PMO, project controls or data analyst environment, ideally within a complex organisation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present large datasets.
- Practical experience using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
- A good understanding of project lifecycle, governance and PMO processes.
