West Coventry Academy is seeking to appoint a reliable and organised Reprographics & Media Technician to join our support staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to contribute to the smooth running of school operations in a busy and rewarding environment.

The Reprographics Technician will be responsible for managing the school’s reprographics service, ensuring high-quality printed and digital materials are produced efficiently to support teaching and learning. In addition, the role will provide administrative support to the main school office, helping ensure the day-to-day operations of the school run smoothly. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, able to manage multiple requests and deadlines, and provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the academy’s reprographics service
  • Producing high-quality printed materials for teaching and learning
  • Managing printing, photocopying, binding, and finishing of documents
  • Maintaining reprographics equipment and liaising with suppliers for servicing and maintenance
  • Providing general administrative support to the school office
  • Supporting the preparation and distribution of school communications, letters, and documentation
  • Working collaboratively with the wider administrative team to support the effective running of the school

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Experience of working with reprographics or print equipment
  • IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office and print software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a busy environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible and willing to support a range of administrative functions within the school office
