Main Responsibilities
Library Management and Operations
Oversee the day-to-day running of the School Library, based in the Old Priory building. Maintain an organised, accessible and well-presented library environment.
Resources and Collection Development
Select, acquire and maintain a relevant and engaging range of library resources (print and digital). Ensure resources support curriculum delivery and independent learning.

Supporting Teaching and Learning
Support independent study and project work.
Reading and Engagement
Contribute to literacy development and enrichment opportunities, including the running of relevant academic clubs.
Administration and Budget
Manage the library budget effectively.
Wider Contribution
Provide support to the Deputy Head (Academic) with regards to Speech Day – specifically, the organising of pupil prizes, completing the required administrative tasks Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Headmaster/Principal Deputy Head/Deputy Head (Academic). Line manage the work of the Part Time Archivist and from time to time, assist them with their duties where reasonably required.
